Brother John D. Jordan Sr. was born in Wilson, N.C. The family migrated to Baltimore, Maryland when he was three years old. Bro. Jordan attended the Baltimore City Public Schools and graduated from Dumbar, Senior High School. Bro Jordan’s other higher learning achievements includes a Bachelor of Science Degree in Management Science from Coppin State University. He also received a Masters Degree in Social Work from the University of Maryland, concentrating in Clinical and Administration, Specializing in families and Children. He currently works as a supervisor in the Baltimore City Department of Social Services, Family Services Program.

Bro. Jordan is married to Sheila Jordan, a member of the Maryland Grand Chapter Order of Eastern Stars. He is an Ordained Deacon of

the Christian Love Baptist Church and past co chair, where he serves as a member of the Deacon Board. Bro. Jordan is a member of the Progressive Convention Layman Auxiliary, where he brings spiritual guidance to men of all walks of life.

Bro. Jordan is a 33º Mason, the past Grand Master of the State of Maryland and past National Deputy Grand Master of the National Grand Lodge. He is currently serving as president of the Maryland Grand Lodge Foundation and six year Trustee of the National Grand Lodge.
